Free Ways to Beat Hair Loss Problem

Do you have a hair loss problem? You probably do, or you wouldn't be reading this article right now. If it causes you shame and embarrassment to go outside, or if you have to wear a hat or wig in public, then you know that you need to do something about this problem. Here are a couple ways to solve a hair loss problem.

1. Got the Money? This'll Work

The first, and among the most effective ways to treat a hair loss problem is by undergoing hair transplantation surgery. This operation works by moving the healthier follicles from the sides and back of your head, to the top, where it is more difficult to grow hair. Thousands of guys have reported great success with this method, and the claims made in the commercials you see are accurate for the most part. However, the one drawback is that the procedure is very expensive -- it is not unusual to pay over $10,000 for just one operation. Still, if you have the money for it, this is a good way to put hair on your head again.

2. Got the Patience? This'll Work, Too

The second, and less expensive, method for treating a hair loss problem is by using the product minoxidil, which is commonly marketed under the brand names Rogaine or Loniten. This is a topical ointment that is applied to the bald spots on your head, and it speeds up the growth of new hair, despite the effects of the chemical DHT. There are a couple downsides to this method, however. It must be applied continually as long as you want its effects to continue (which is, hopefully, a very long time). Also, just for a month's supply, it can cost anywhere from $40 - $80. This means budgeting in a new monthly cost, just for a hair loss product. Also, it usually takes several months for results to become visible.
